Email Forwarding:
Receiving email using your domain name
  1.  Login to our Control Panel

Please refer to "I'm having problems logging in to the Control Panel" should you ever encounter any problems connecting to our server.
  2. Enter your domain name and password. Remember, your domain name does not include "www.". If you do not remember your password, please contact us.
  3. Scroll down the section entitled "Email Forwarding".

  • Under the section entitled "Username", enter the name of the email address you wish to receive mail for. This can be your first name, sales, info etc. Do not use spaces.
  • Under the section "Forward To" specify where you want this email to forward to. This can be any valid email address.
In the example above any mail sent either info@popunder.biz or sales@popunder.biz would be forwarded to andrew@aol.com. However, sales@popunder.biz is forwarded to lissa@yahoo.com. As you can see from this example, you may create multiple email accounts and have them forward to different places.

Using all 50 free email forwarding accounts
When you initially set up your Email Forwarding you will only see 7 rows for your email accounts. This is normal and designed to conserve space. After you have used up these first 7 rows, click on the "Modify" button at the bottom of the control panel page. Now log off then log back in. You should now see an additional 7 slots or fields ready for more email addresses. Repeat the process if necessary. You are allowed a total of 50 email forwarding accounts for each domain name registered.

Using our NEW! Catch-all email account
Using the * (asterisk) character in any Username field now acts as a catch-all email account. For example, let's say in the Username field for Row 1 you entered the name info and in the Forward To field for that same Row, you entered the email address andrew@aol.com. This means that any email sent to info at this domain, will be instantly forwarded to andrew@aolcom

Now in Row 2, let's assume you used the * character in the Username field and lissa@yahoo.com in the Forward To field. In this case Andrew will only receive email if someone sends email to info at this domain. However, since Lissa is using a catch-all, he would receive ANY email sent to this domain name except for those emails sent to info. If more than one person needs to receive "all" email at a particular domain, then simply use the * character in the Username field in more than one row.

Using our new catch-all enable you to have virtually an unlimited number or email forwarding accounts. It's also a great way to ensure you don't miss any emails sent to your domain name from someone who happened to misspell your email address.

Sending email using your domain
Feel free to set up your email program to use one of the email accounts you've created as your "Reply To" email address. After all this is one of the primary benefits of having your own domain name. Since these are email forwarding accounts and not actual POP3 email accounts, you will have to use your ISPs outgoing mail server to send your email. For more information about your outgoing mail server, please consult with your ISP or web hosting company.
